Shopping in Shirlington

I always enjoy going back to the first neighborhood my husband and I lived as newlyweds. It has been updated and improved over the last twenty+ years! Shirlington is a bustling area with a little walkable stretch filled with coffee shops, restaurants and shops.

Two of my favorite shops are The Cookery and Le Village Marche.

Inside The Cookery you will find artisan food items from the local area, pots and pans, cooking utensils, and unique serveware.

Here is a peek inside of some of the items you will find.

In my humble opinion, you can never have TOO Many Tools!

Look at all these Staub pots!

Wander just down one block and you can step into a piece of France. Le Village Marché is a merchandising dream! Everything is grouped by color!

Take a short drive and do a little shopping and check out one of the many restaurants, like the Carlyle Grand, however, skip BUSBOYS and POETS! I will not even bother you with a review of the restaurant! Consider yourself warned!
